WorkReadyNH classes offered in Raymond
The Regional Economic Development Center of Southern New Hampshire will be launching WorkReadyNH, a free program presented by Manchester Community College that is aimed at helping job-seekers and career builders improve their skills and add two nationally recognized credentials to their resume.
Classes begin Oct. 21 at the Regional Economic Development and Business Training Center, 57 Main St. in Raymond.
The course will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, ending in mid-November.
Organizers said the program will provide assessment, instruction and credentialing in key skill areas that have been identified by employers as essential to workplace success.
The program is an initiative of the Community College System of New Hampshire, the governor’s office, the Department of Resources and Economic Development and the Department of Employment Security.
