LONDONDERRY – A town woman severely injured in a Wednesday morning wreck on Route 102 remains in serious condition at a Boston hospital, police said.
Shobhona Chatterjee, 58, was flown by helicopter to Brigham and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries after her Chevrolet Impala collided with a tractor-trailer on Wednesday.
Chatterjee was wearing a seat belt, and her car’s airbags deployed, but she was unconscious when rescuers arrived around 8:30 a.m. and workers had to extricate her from the wrecked car before a helicopter airlifted her to Boston.
