MILFORD – A 77-year-old Keene woman was flown by medical helicopter to University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester after she was injured in a single-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon.
A nursing supervisor reported Harper was in good condition Sunday evening.
Police said Harper was traveling east on Route 101 Bypass near the Osgood Road overpass when she apparently lost control of her car and drove off the south side of the road onto the dirt embankment, returned to the pavement, then left the road again and struck a tree.
The accident happened at about 4 p.m.
Police didn’t say whether Harper had any passengers in her car.
The department’s technical accident reconstruction team is continuing its investigation, police said, adding that anyone who has additional information about the crash is asked to call Milford Police at 673-7742.
