Trailer, building damaged by fire
NASHUA – A box trailer behind a vacant business at 9 Canal St. caught fire Saturday night, working its way into the empty building where it caused minor damage.
City fire and police departments received the call at 8:28 p.m. and had the blaze under control quickly, said Nashua police Sgt. Michael Masella, who was at the scene.
Four fire trucks, four police units and an ambulance responded to the call. Masella said the police department’s criminal investigation unit and the fire marshal’s office were investigating the cause of the fire.
