Summit to explore IT and health care

A regional summit exploring how health information technology can improve health care in New England will be held Oct. 17 at the Wayfarer Inn Convention Center in Bedford.

Presented by The New England Council, along with the eHealth Initiative, the New England Healthcare Institute, the Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire and the Bi-State Primary Care Association, the Health Information Technology Summit will feature a keynote address by U.S. Sen. John E. Sununu as well as panel discussions featuring representatives from Wellpoint, Community Health Access Network, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, NextGen, the Massachusetts Community Health Center Program, New Hampshire Institute for Health Policy & Procedure, the New Hampshire Governor’s Office, Concord Hospital and Clinical Content Consultants.

The event will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
