Skin cancer screenings offered

Dermatologist Khalil Khatri will hold free skin cancer screenings May 22 at The Skin & Laser Surgery Center of New England, 74 Allds St.

The screenings were scheduled to coincide with Melanoma/Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention Month, sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology.

The screenings are part of a national campaign to encourage early detection and teach prevention of skin cancer, the most common form of cancer in the United States.
