Work nears completion on Bethlehem apartment complex, new hires at Bonnette Page& Stone … and more

The city of Concord and The Caleb Group, a nonprofit affordable housing organization based in Swampscott, Mass., have opened the first phase of Penacook Landing, 34 apartments at the Allied Leather Tannery property, a former brownfields site. Some 31 of the apartments are affordable. Financing help was provided by the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, the Community Development Block Grant program, Evernorth and Genesis Community Loan Fund. Cheshire Builders, a Swanzey-based construction company, was the builder. Caleb plans to develop the second and final phase of the project with 20 additional units of housing in 2021, dependent upon funding.
One of the three multi-unit apartment buildings under construction by North Branch Construction in Phase II of the Wallace Farm Apartment Homes community on Bridle Path Lane in Londonderry has been issued a certificate of occupancy, with tenant move-in already begun. Wallace Farm Phase II is a $13.2 million project featuring three 24-unit three-story apartment buildings. The 72 additional one- and two-bedroom units built in Phase II will bring the total number of mixed-income units available to 168. Christopher Fokas of Wallace Farm Development LLC is developer of the project.
Construction is well underway on Lloyd’s Hills Apartments, a new four-building complex at 2506 Main St. in Bethlehem that will feature 28 two- and three-bedroom units. Completion is scheduled for February 2021, according to Littleton-based affordable housing organization AHEAD, owner and manager of the project.
C&J Bus Lines will begin operations on Nov. 15 at its new transportation center in Seabrook. The company-owned facility, under construction since the start of the year, features a new bus terminal and over 800 parking spaces. C&J will provide nonstop motor-coach service to Boston South Station and Logan International Airport, and direct service to New York City from this location.
Kristin O’Brien, who has over 25 years of sales and marketing experience, has joined Bonnette Page & Stone of Laconia as director of marketing, a newly created position. In addition, Matt Angell has joined the firm as an estimator, and Tim Buckley was recently named the company’s accountant.
Bridge Street Recovery LLC, a national substance abuse treatment organization, will be breaking ground on Oct. 30 for a new substance use disorder recovery facility in Bennington, NH. The facility will include a 40-bed residential care unit and transitional housing that will provide both ambulatory and long-term care to individuals recovering from addiction.
Concord-based Quantum Construction Consultants a municipal engineering firm, has hired Samuel Cheney as project engineer.
Environmental permitting specialist Jay Aube has joined the Seacoast Division of TFMoran. His 20 years of experience includes 12 years in the public sector as an employee of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services.
Prolman Realty Inc., Nashua, has announced the sale of Units 1 and 2 at 381 Main St., Nashua, to FMP Realty LLC. Seller of Unit 1 was RNC Realty LLC and the seller of Unit 2 was Accent on You Hair Salon Inc.. Both were represented by Lisa Ferrari in the transaction According the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds, the selling price for Unit 1 was $187,500 and Unit 2 was $405,000.
