New cell towers for Verizon
Verizon Wireless has announced the installation of two new cell cites in New Hampshire.
The new cell towers are located along Routes 4 and 202, increasing coverage in Barrington, Northwood and surrounding areas.
The new installation follows $318 million of improvements made in the New England region during 2006 in an effort to meet the growing demand for wireless voice and data services provided by Verizon Wireless.
According to Verizon officials, the company added 1.7 million new customers during first quarter 2007, bringing their total number of customers to 61 million. — TRACIE STONE
