WILTON – The dedication of a memorial for Joan Andersen will be held at the Wilton Public and Gregg Free Library at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13.
Representatives of the GFWC-Wilton/Lyndeborough Women’s Club, the Friends of the Library and the library board of trustees will offer remarks.
Refreshments will be served in the library immediately after the dedication.
The memorial honors Andersen, a founding member of the Women’s Club, past president of the Friends of the Library and a dedicated volunteer.
The GFWC-Wilton/Lyndeborough Women’s Club donated the granite post, bracket and plaque; the Friends of the Library donated the placement of the granite post; and the Four Corners CNC of Millerton, N.Y., donated the sign.
The event is free and open to the public.
