BEDFORD – Police were looking for a man who robbed a local Wal-Mart store Tuesday night.
The robbery happened at about 9 p.m. at the Wal-Mart at 17 Colby Court, Bedford police officials said in a prepared statement.
According to the statement, a black male about 6-foot-3 or 6-foot-4 and weighing about 240 pounds left the store with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise by the time police responded to a report of the robbery.
The man reportedly had a scruffy beard and black hair and was wearing a black puffy jacket, jeans and a black winter hat, at the time of the robbery, according to the statement.
Police would not release any more information.
