‘Local heroes’ to read in program
WILTON
This year’s theme of the summer reading program at the Wilton Public-Gregg Free Library is “Local Heroes.” More than 15 members of the community have agreed to take part.
Now through Aug. 21, children from kindergarten through grade six will be treated to lively and entertaining short stories read by local heroes. Those taking part include Deputy Fire Chief Dave Boissonnault, Town Clerk Jane Farrell, nurse Eric Weiss, Frank Manley, Publisher of the Cabinet Press; Joe Broyles, New Hampshire Energy Program Manager; Police Chief Brent Hautanen, former State Representative Hal Melcher, author Nancy Clark, Postmaster Kirk Pomeroy, Main Street Book Shop owner Brandi MacDonald, a representative from Nashua Pride, and a Wilton veterinarian.
