Hooksett: Merchants Automotive Group has sold its rental car division to Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Headquartered in Hooksett, Merchants has 17 rental locations and some 1,500 vehicles. Merchants’ operations include new and used vehicle sales and service, as well as corporate fleet leasing. Only the rental operation has been sold. Enterprise, which has had a local presence for 15 years, operates more than 600,000 rental and fleet services vehicles worldwide and has annual revenues of more than $6.9 billion.
