In what is becoming a common refrain, GT Solar International Inc. has received another order from a new customer in Asia, this time for $55 million.The Merrimack-based manufacturer of equipment for solar cells and LED lighting said the order would be included in the its backlog for the first quarter of fiscal year 2012, which ended July 2.Placed by an unnamed customer, the order was for polysilicon production equipment, the company said.In June, GT Solar inked its largest single order to date, a $460 million deal from a Chinese company for its furnaces used to produce sapphire crystals. An $81.7 million dollar deal in July helped drive the company’s stock price to an all-time high of $17.11 per share.
