Gathering set for Whimsical People

WILTON – The annual gathering to make the popular Whimsical People will be held on Saturday, May 8, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Fire Station on Main Street.

The Whimsicals, stick figures dressed in whatever costume the designer chooses, are arranged around the downtown area to signal the arrival of spring.

Participants who make a Whimsical for Wilton can then make another to take home for $15. All materials are supplied. All ages are welcome.

This annual event is sponsored by the Wilton Main Street Association. Call 654-3020 for more information.
