Driver sought in hit-and-run
HOLLIS – Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident on Main Street at 7:39 a.m. Saturday.
Police said the driver appeared to be coming down the steep hill near the high school when his or her car slid on the snow and crashed into a 1993 blue Dodge minivan parked at the end of a driveway. The vehicle left the scene of the accident without contacting police or the owner of the van, police said.
Authorities are looking for a red vehicle with heavy front-end damage.
Police have not found any witnesses to the accident, which they say caused significant damage to the driver’s side of the van.
