Cash, sweets stolen from stand

HUDSON – Vandals hit the Pop Warner concession stand at Hudson Memorial Middle School, making off with a sweet stash.

Police were contacted at 11:30 a.m. Monday about the vandalism, in which a wall was torn off a metal trailer-like stand. The football group sold snacks and food at the stand.

About $50 worth of candy including sour straws, ring pops and gum was taken. The cash register was also taken.
