A market demand for nurses boosts NH supply
There is a critical need in the Granite State for nurses, and the market has responded with more supply, with more interest than ever in nursing.
Some 166 New Hampshire individuals and businesses filed for bankruptcy in October, 31 more than September and 25 more than October 2018 — increases of 23% and 18%, respectively. That brings average monthly filings for the year to about 153, seven more (or about 5%) than last year, but just one more than in 2017.
In October 2009, in the heart of the recession, there were 466 filings for the month.
