Former Belmont manufacturing facility sold for $1.25 million
Company plans to move from Alton, offer professional office space, storage units
Alton-based NorthLand Construction has purchased the former manufacturing facility of Wilcom Products in Belmont and plans to move its headquarters to part of the 55,000-square-foot building, with plans to convert the rest of the space to storage units and professional offices.
Sale price was $1.25 million.
NorthLand owner Timothy Suchocki told The Laconia Daily Sun that the firm will be using much of the first-floor office space, but there is a section for professional office space that will be available.
In addition, he said a 16,000-square-foot space on the second floor of the building has its own access from an upper parking lot and is suitable for medical offices.
“The office space is available immediately, and I’m willing to reconfigure it any way they need,” he said.
He also said the majority of the lower floor is large enough to accommodate 160 storage units.
Suchocki also said that the firm’s Connecticut-based highway construction company, Suchocki & Son Inc., will be operating from the Belmont property to handle anticipated jobs in New Hampshire.
A telecommunications test equipment and components manufacturer, Wilcom Products relocated to smaller quarters in Meredith.
