1. The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill recently held its ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the new location at 125 S. Broadway in Salem Park Plaza. It’s the second location for partners Kevin Chauvette and John Hall, two friends with their own successful business careers. Hall and Chauvette also own The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in Manchester. A third is planned for next year.

2. MVSB announced it is the presenting sponsor of the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce annual Meeting and Business Inspiration Awards, with a theme of “Charting the Course for 2026.” This event will be held Wednesday, March 18 from 9-11 a.m. at Church Landing in Meredith. 4. The Southern New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the grand opening of Wicked Irish Clothing Company’s new Salem storefront at 107 Main St., Suite 1. The grand opening featured bagpipes by Campbell Webster of the Dropkick Murphys, Irish step dancers from Murray Academy, food, giveaways, music and Wicked Irish’s apparel. Owner Jimmy Lynch shared remarks about the company’s mission and vision.

5. Lakes Region Community College announced that the entire third graduating cohort from its paramedic certificate program passed the Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians Paramedic exam on the first try, showing that students are qualified and ready to fill demand. The accomplishment underscores the school’s commitment to excellence in emergency medical education amid the high demand for skilled emergency responders.

6. Meredith Village Savings Bank has contributed $1,000 to help kick off the Holderness Central School Parent Teacher Association’s fundraising efforts to raise $50,000 for a new sound system. The new sound system will improve performances, assemblies and community events. Email the PTA at hcshawkspta@gmail.com to support the Holderness Central School Hawks PTA sound system project. Holderness Central School is a public K-8 school.

7. In January, the Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) completed its annual Mitten Tree Drive with 2,800 in community donations. The new and handmade mittens, gloves, hats and scarves were delivered to local nonprofits to distribute to those in need. For every item collected, The Merrimack pledged $2 to community food pantries, amounting to $7,100 in donations distributed to various food pantries across New Hampshire.
