Trader Joe’s to open Bedford store March 29
Location is company’s third in New Hampshire
The eagerly awaited opening of the Trader Joe’s store at the new Market and Main mixed-use development in Bedford is scheduled to open on Friday, March 29.
The company announced that the store – its third in New Hampshire — will officially open for business at 9 a.m., following a ribbon-cutting.
The California-based grocery store chain said the Bedford store will feature murals that “pay tribute to landmarks such as Lake Winnipesaukee, the State Capitol Building and the Mount Washington Cog Railway.”
Shawn Minihane, a 14-yer Trader Joe’s veteran, is the store manager.
The store is part of the first phase of the 350,000-square-foot Market and Main project, which is being built on the former site of Macy’s. Also scheduled to open soon as part of that first phase is a Friendly Toast restaurant.
