Funding for tourism promotion has been approved by the Executive Council despite concerns by some councilors the money is too heavily concentrated in the lakes and mountain regions. Commissioner of Resources and Economic Development Sean O’Kane said the next round of funding for the state’s Joint Promotion Program would include money for every area of the state. He said future funding would look at fostering the development of groups that do not currently apply.

New Hampshire has joined 22 other states in signing onto a lawsuit against Uber, arguing the rideshare company was “deceptive” in selling and billing for its subscription service, Uber One, according to a press release from Attorney General John Formella’s office.
