The Timberland Company has once again been included on Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list.
A manufacturer of footwear, clothing and accessories, Timberland was ranked 78th on this year’s list. It’s the ninth consecutive year that the Statham-based company has appeared on the list.
The company offers a variety of paid-leave programs which allow employees to work with nonprofits. Since 1992 Timberland employees have logged more than 430,000 hours of community service.
Timberland’s commitment to community and its environmental stewardship programs also continue to be among the reasons for the annual recognition. – TRACIE STONE
