The right message on gerrymandering

To the editor:

Three cheers for Marjorie Smith and the article about gerrymandering (“Let’s put an end to gerrymandering in NH,” Feb. 1-14 NH Business Review). The politicians of all stripes have an ingrained reason to develop voting districts to their liking. How about districts that are neutral?

I don’t have the knowledge or experience to suggest how this could be achieved, but apparently Ms. Smith does. More power to her.
