The Lobby launch party set for Dec. 1

The Lobby, the premier source for the latest news about New Hampshire business and politics, will host its official launch party Wednesday, Dec. 1, in Concord. Created as a partnership between NHBR and the Nashua Telegraph, focuses exclusively on the overlap of business and politics in the Granite State. Updated daily with hard-hitting news stories, features, photos and multimedia, The Lobby is essential reading for political junkies, business owners and executives, legislators and lobbyists alike. The launch party will be held just strides from the State House – the site’s favorite never-ending news source – between 4 and 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn at 172 North Main St. in Concord. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be served, and a cash bar will be available. In addition to the website’s network of regular contributors, who include some of the state’s best-known politicos, the site’s lead writers also will be in attendance at the launch: Kevin Landrigan, the Telegraph’s veteran State House reporter whose weekly report is chock full of political predictions (including the pre-election report that New Hampshire Republicans would claim 300 House seats); Bob Sanders, NHBR reporter and the face behind Bob’s Bulls & Bears, which tells readers the companies to watch each week; and Ashley Smith, editor of The Lobby and business editor at the Telegraph; and NHBR editor Jeff Feingold, whose weekly Whiplash column rates each week’s headline-makers on their performance and behavior. In attendance may even be the elusive Mr. Snitch, the shadowy snoop with a habit of digging up the state’s juiciest bits of political gossip.
