Simon Property Group lowers ’07 expectations

Simon Property Group, owner of a number of New Hampshire retail malls has projected earnings for 2007 to be below analyst projections.

Officials from the real estate investment company projected 2007 diluted funds from operation to be between $5.70 and $5.80 per share. The company said it expects earnings per share for 2007 to be between $1.82 and $1.92.

According to Reuters Estimates, analysts are projecting Simon Property Group’s FFO to be $5.81 per share for 2007 and earnings per share to reach $1.94.

Currently, shares of Simon Property Group are trading at $105.35 per share. Share prices have gone from a low of $76.14 per share to a high of $106.75 per share over the past 52 weeks. – TRACIE STONE
