Roche named new Hesser president
Dr. John E. Roche has been named the new president of Hesser College.
Roche, 60, will oversee Hesser’s main campus in Manchester as well as the college’s branches in Concord, Nashua, Portsmouth and Salem.
“We expect Dr. Roche to guide us in continually providing quality educational opportunities for the citizens of New Hampshire,” said Dr. Phil Krebs, New England regional vice president of operations for New York-based Kaplan Higher Education, parent company of the school. “Dr. Roche’s outstanding experience in higher education is a valuable asset to the future of our college.”
Roche, who recently served as interim president of CHI Institute in Broomall, Pa., has over 20 years of experience in education, including three years as vice president of career services and professional development at Berkeley College, which has seven locations in New York and New Jersey.
Roche also served as an associate dean at Long Island University as well as a chairperson and assistant professor at New York Institute of Technology. – JUSSIE MARTIN
