NASHUA – Maria Matarazzo, associate professor of business at Rivier College, recently received recognition from the national Business and Professional Women’s Association.
Matarazzo received The Megaphone Award 2003-04 for her advocacy regarding legislative issues that impact working women, families and minorities.
The award recognizes her efforts as a state legislative representative for the New Hampshire Federation of BPW and specifically cites her collaboration with other organizations to address legislative issues during the 2003-04 presidential campaign.
Matarazzo served on the planning committee for the First-in-the-Nation Presidential Candidates debate, co-sponsored by the New Hampshire Federation of BPW.
