The health-care industry should be one step closer to having portable, secure and complete electronic health records for patients and clients, thanks to a new product making its debut at a San Diego trade show this week.
PC Connection Services, a subsidiary of PC Connection Inc. in Merrimack is introducing a HealthConnection initiative at the Health Information and Management System Society Show.
PC Connection says its new product promises health-care providers and payer organizations mobility in the health-care setting, the ability to capture health data at the point of care, document or information lifecycle management, regulation compliance and IT infrastructure.
“Health-care environments today face a growing need to implement IT systems that allow users across the network to input, access, and manage patient information in a compliant and secure manner,” said David Beffa-Negrini, co-president of PC Connection Services. “Our Health Connection solution providers will assist our healthcare customers to deploy the right technologies to meet this need.” – TRACIE STONE
