Linda Normandin will take over as the first woman president of Laconia Savings Bank when current President and CEO Bruce Clow steps down next Jan. 8.
In announcing that Normandin had been selected, Clow noted that she is “exceptionally well qualified. She has a strong educational background, has demonstrated excellent leadership skills, has the highest moral and ethical standards and is dedicated to the success of Laconia Savings Bank as an independent mutual organization.”
Normandin joined LSB in 1974 and is currently the bank’s senior executive vice president and chief operating officer.

New Hampshire has joined 22 other states in signing onto a lawsuit against Uber, arguing the rideshare company was “deceptive” in selling and billing for its subscription service, Uber One, according to a press release from Attorney General John Formella’s office.
