New Hampshire Electric Co-op president Fred Anderson, left, and his daughter, Chrissy Anderson, right, congratulate Naomi Bolton, the first recipient of the Kathy Anderson Scholarship. Named in honor of his late wife, the scholarship was created to help a deserving New Hampshire woman seeking to better herself through education. Bolton, who is the town administrator of Weare, will put the $2,500 scholarship toward her studies at Granite State College in Concord, where she is majoring in business administration and finance.
