A fully wired NH expected by 2026
Despite a shift in policy, New Hampshire officials expect 100% of the households and businesses in the state will have access to broadband internet by 2026.
Bankruptcies in New Hampshire, which have been declining over the last few months, are back up.There were 479 filings in September — the most in any September save for 2005. The total was 46 more than in August, (an 11 percent increase) and 36 more than September 2009 (an 8 percent increase).Almost all of the bankruptcies were personal. There were four business bankruptcies, compared to nine in August: • Great Bay Catering LLC, formerly of Somersworth now of Eliot, Maine, Chapter 7, filed Sept. 2. Assets: $500. Liabilities: $ 491,713. • Great Bay/Hepburn LLC, (former owners of the Somersworth property), Chapter 7, filed Sept 2. Assets: $ 130.85 Liabilities: $466,086 • TMT Real Estate Development LLC, Auburn. Chapter 11, filed Sept. 30. Assets: Less than $10,000. Liabilities: From $500,000 to $1 million • Moultonborough Hotel Group, Chapter 11, filed Sept 30.. Assets: $1 million to $10 million.
