Moody’s upgrades Mass. College of Pharmacy rating
Moody’s Investors Service has upgraded the bond rating of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science to A2 from A3 – upper medium grades — on bonds issued through the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency. The outlook is stable. The college has a campus in Manchester, N.H.Moody’s cited the college’s strong operating cash flow and management practices as well as no immediate future debt plans and even its “marketable” real estate as strengths. The fact that MCP is focused on health-care curricula was seen as both a benefit and a detractor. It also points to tuition-based revenue and fund-raising as challenges, as they are for many colleges. – CINDY KIBBE/NEW HAMPSHIRE BUSINESS REVIEW
