Gov. Kelly Ayotte suggests leasing surplus state land for residential development to help curb New Hampshire's housing shortage and attract more workers to the state.

Lawrence Savings Bank has announced it has changed it name to RiverBank.
The publicly traded North Andover, Mass., bank said the change brings it a “fresh new name and image to go along with our new attitude and competitive posture.”
Gerald T. Mulligan, president and CEO, added, “We are changing our name to RiverBank to recognize both the larger region we serve and our commitment to be the best bank in the area.”
Existing customers can still use their current checks and debit cards, and account numbers will not change as a result of the new name, said bank officials.
RiverBank’s holding company name will remain LSB Corp., as will its stock symbol, LSBX.
The bank was organized in 1868, and has five branches, including a full-service bank in Salem, N.H. — CINDY KIBBE
