The Nashua River Rail Trail runs from the southwest corner of the city to Ayer, Mass. The start of the trail in Nashua is off Route 111A (West Groton Road), near the Hollis town line.
The city plans to create a parking lot along the north side of Route 111A, but for now there are large dirt areas for parking along the south side of the road. There also is a small parking lot just over the state line in Dunstable, Mass., on Hollis Street, which is named Groton Road on the Nashua side of the border.
