The Manchester-based nonprofit Girls at Work Inc. is reinventing its Diva Night Event, with this year’s sixth annual event going virtual.
The event, underwritten by presenting sponsor People’s United Bank, will start at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, featuring music from Boston’s Adam Ezra Group and nationally standup comedian Kelly MacFarland.
The event also includes an online auction, bidding for which begins at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17. Items up for auction include one-of-a-kind items built by Girls at Work builders and volunteers and cedar Adirondack chairs, high-top dining table and stools and a picnic table, among others.
Originally scheduled for earlier this year, the Diva program is Girls at Work’s primary fundraising event to support its mission to provide girls with the tools to overcome adversity, build confidence and develop leadership skills to face current and future life challenges.
Tickets for Diva Night are $35 and are available by clickinghere.
The 10-day online auction can be viewed herestarting Sept. 17.
