After a brief uptick in August, the number of New Hampshire bankruptcy filings declined again in September.
There were 165 filings, a 15.4 percent drop from August 2014. It was the lowest number of filings in any September in a quarter of a century.
Four businesses filed for bankruptcy, the same as in August:
• Tempnology LLC dba Coolcore, Portsmouth, filed Sept. 1, Chapter 11. Assets: $2,739,857. Liabilities: $6,224,370.
• Misty Mountain Farm LLC, Piermont, filed Sept. 14, Chapter 11. Assets: $272,825. Liabilities: $153,976.
• Phoenix Medical Products LTD, Nashua, filed Sept. 15, Chapter 7. Assets: $618,094. Liabilities: $1,115,625.
• Caliper Designs Inc., Portsmouth, filed Sept. 25, Chapter 7. Assets: $17,492. Liabilities: $456,798.
