GROTON, Mass.- The Nashua River Watershed Association will hold an end-of-summer family program, “There’s a Fox in My Backyard,” from 9:30-11 a.m. on Aug. 28.
Using exciting, hands-on demonstrations participants will get to “make it rain on a community” and learn how people affect habitats. Participants will also get close to some animal skins, identify new plants and animals, and play some games. The event is appropriate for ages 4-10 with adults. Backpack babies are welcome.
This program will take place at the NRWA’s River Resource Center at 592 Main St. (Route 119) in Groton. The fees are:
– For association members, $4 a person or $12 a family.
– For non-members, $6 a person or $18 a family.
Registration is required. To register or for more information, call the association at 1-978-448-0299.
