Phil Taub, with his wife, Julie, co-founded Swim With a Mission, a Bedford-based nonprofit that raises funds for veterans services and holds several fundraisers throughout the year, including its signature swim race at Newfound Lake in July. Army and police veteran Scott Hyder founded Hidden Battles Foundation, a Dracut, Mass.-based nonprofit that helps veterans and first-responders, both active and retired, cope with mental health issues.

Brodsky named 'Citizen of the Year' by Greater New Hampshire Chamber

Howard Brodsky, co-founder and chairman of CCA Global Partners, has been selected Citizen of the Year by the Greater Manchester Chamber. Brodsky, whose most recently philanthropic effort is a Open Arts United, a nonprofit that supports the arts to underserved communities, will be honored April 4 at the chamber’s Citizen of the Year Celebration, 5 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown.
