A podcast produced by New Hampshire Public Radio, "The 13th Step," was named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize awarded by Columbia University, a first-ever recognition for NHPR, the radio network announced in a news release Wednesday.

Howard Brodsky, co-founder and chairman of CCA Global Partners, has been selected Citizen of the Year by the Greater Manchester Chamber. Brodsky, whose most recently philanthropic effort is a Open Arts United, a nonprofit that supports the arts to underserved communities, will be honored April 4 at the chamber’s Citizen of the Year Celebration, 5 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown.
