Jennifer Boulanger, executive director of the Belknap County Economic Development Council for the past 4-1/2 years, will be stepping down from her job on Oct. 1.A Northwood resident, Boulanger joined the council as finance manager in 2006. She was named executive director in April 2007, succeeding the organization’s founding director, Eliza Leadbeater. Chairman Michael Persson said Boulanger did “a great job” for the council. “She excelled at managing our loan portfolio and guiding (the council) through the challenges that it has faced over the past three years, and we will miss her.”The council has formed a search committee to re-evaluate the economic development needs and vision of the municipalities in Belknap County as well as to find a new director. — NEW HAMPSHIRE BUSINESS REVIEW
