NASHUA- Children’s author Graeme Base will visit Barnes & Noble tonight at 7 p.m. for a reading and signing of his latest book, “Jungle Drums.”
Base gained international recognition for his picture book “Animalia,” in which each page showed a different letter along with animals and objects that begin with that letter.
Born in England, Base moved to Melbourne, Australia, as a young boy, where he now lives with his family. In recent years, he traveled to Tanzania with his family and spent weeks living by the Serengeti River. “Jungle Drums” was inspired by all that he saw and heard during his stay.
