Dave Anderson of Portsmouth, an attorney with the law firm of Pierce Atwood, of the has been confirmed by the Executive Council to serve as a judge on the New Hampshire Superior Court.
Anderson, a partner in Pierce Atwood’s Litigation Practice Group since 2001, is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and served as partner-in-charge of the Portsmouth office from 2009 to 2013.
In addition, Margaret-Ann Moran of Manchester, a partner in the law firm of Upton & Hatfield, has been confirmed as the state’s newest circuit judge.
Moran, a partner at Upton & Hatfield’s office in Hillsborough, has represented many New Hampshire school districts and school boards.
