Community Bank and Trust shareholders have voted to install president Peter Alden as the new CEO, taking over the duties of Brad Gile, who will still serve as chairman of the board, the Wolfeboro-based bank announced.
Alden joined the bank in 1999 as a vice president and senior loan officer and has been president since 2001.
The bank also announced that it made $7.9 million in 2005, resulting in an 18.85 percent return on equity. The directors voted to pay a special dividend of 50 cents per share on July 3 to shareholders of record on June 9.
Dividends for the last 12 months, including the special dividend, will total $1.90 per share. – BOB SANDERS
