Nashua-based Brookstone Thursday reported increases in total net sales and same-store sales for the fourth quarter.
Total net sales and same-store sales for the fiscal year also increased for the quarter ending Dec. 30.
Total net sales increased by 13.3 percent for the fourth quarter to $256 million for the fourth quarter were up 13.3 percent compared to $200 million reported for fourth quarter 2005. Same-store sales for fourth quarter 2006 were 6.7 percent higher than fourth quarter 2005.
Brookstone reported $512 million in total net sales for fiscal 2006, up 9.3 percent from 2005 net sales of nearly $441 million. Same-store sales for the year increased 1.8 percent compared to 2005.
The company ended the year with a cash position of $72 million, according to Lou Mancini, company president and CEO.
