Unpacking New Hampshire’s Housing Crisis – Insights, Data, and Solutions

Nhbr Advertiser Webinar Logo

While the housing market is cooling off in some parts of the country, it’s still scorching in New Hampshire. According to New Hampshire Housing’s 2023 New Hampshire Statewide Housing Needs Assessment, the state is short 23,500 homes and, without solutions, that number is going to dramatically increase in coming years.

Join Julie Jussif, managing director of New Hampshire Housing’s Homeownership Division, and Bob Quinn, CEO at the New Hampshire Association of Realtors to discuss the ongoing housing crisis in this NH Business Review webinar. Julie will present key insights from the 2023 Needs Assessment, and discuss the impact of housing availability on rentals and the role of mortgage accessibility and interest rates in the housing crunch. Bob will supplement this with historical and current sales data, comparing New Hampshire’s situation with other regions. He’ll also share solutions that Realtors are exploring with clients and ideas for addressing the crisis. Then, the two will field questions from viewers in a Q&A session.

This webinar was held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023
