2021 Business Excellence Winner: Jade Monahan of Adventure Ready Brands

Jade Monahan, Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Adventure Ready Brands, is the Business Excellence recipient in the Manufacturing category for a large organization

An HR veteran with over 25 years of experience in human capital, Jade has spent time in every facet of HR, including compensation, benefits, recruiting, labor relations, and learning and development.  With time at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, and Mass General Brigham, Jade brings a wealth of experience to the HR team and strategy she has built at Adventure Ready Brands.

In particular, Jade and her team help champion ARB’s mission of Adventure Ready Girls — a program built on the belief that spending time outdoors offers huge benefits in building confidence, self-esteem and creativity, as well as forming lifelong healthy habits of participating in outdoor activities. The Adventure Ready Girls initiative exists to eliminate the gap where parents are 16% less likely to spend time outdoors with their girls than boys.  In addition to her HR function, Jade is charged with developing and executing programs aimed at the goal of getting 1 million girls outside by 2025.
