FINANCIAL SERVICES
Franklin Savings Bank announced the following promotions: Mike Duval to SVP, commercial loan officer; Mark Wilson to SVP, chief credit officer; Lori-Ann Bolduc to assistant vice president, branch manager of the Tilton location; and James Yates to assistant branch manager of the bank’s Goffstown location.
Camden National Bank, which has locations in both Maine and New Hampshire, has been recognized by the Financial Authority of Maine (FAME) with its “Lender at Work for Maine” Award for the 15th year in a row in recognition of the bank’s 150-year legacy of supporting Maine’s economic growth. Over the past year, the bank partnered with FAME to deliver 70 loans totaling more than $12 million, helping create 109 new jobs and retain 472 jobs statewide.
The Foundry Financial Group, Inc., a fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm serving clients throughout the Lakes Region, has welcomed two new members to its advisory team as shareholders: Daniel J. Rivet, CFP, and Sarah M. Anderson, CFP. Joining president Michael Fogarty, CFP, Rivet was appointed vice president, and Anderson was appointed treasurer.
TD Bank was ranked No. 1 for the ninth consecutive year in total number of approved U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) loans in its Maine-to-Florida footprint for the SBA’s 2025 fiscal year. For SBA 7(a) loan units, TD Bank also secured No. 1 rankings in Maine, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, South Carolina, South Florida and Vermont, and is ranked the No. 5 SBA lender nationwide.
Bellwether Community Credit Union has welcomed Yan Ventura as its new business development officer. He most recently served as a business service officer at Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union.
The New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute (NHFPI) has appointed Deborah Fournier, director of health law and policy at UNH’s Institute for Health Policy and Practice, and Allyson Ryder, executive director of NH Civics, to its board of directors.
Camden National Bank has appointed Jennifer Cummings as senior vice president, director of commercial banking for the State of Maine, and Ian Pullen as senior vice president, commercial banking officer. Most recently, Cummings served as director of business at the Finance Authority of Maine, and Pullen has over 20 years of experience in various commercial banking roles with Norway Savings Bank, Northeast Bank and Mechanic Savings Bank.
Merrimack County Savings Bank is helping finance the construction of the Mark Stebbins Community Center on Manchester’s West Side, slated to open in fall 2026. Funded through the NH Community Development Finance Authority, The Merrimack pledged $15,000 toward the 20,000-square-foot nonprofit center, which will provide children and families access to vital resources, and will be home to several nonprofits including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester and Amoskeag Health.
NONPROFITS
Bruce Bacon has been promoted to chief human resources officer for Easterseals NH & VT. He initially joined the organization in 2023 as SVP of human resources, and has served in his current role on an interim basis since March 2025. Before joining Easterseals, he held HR executive positions in the corporate sector for over two decades, followed by seven years in higher education.
Monadnock Peer Support (MPS), a nonprofit offering non-clinical mental health support for adults, has received a $1,000 allocation from the Keene Elm City Rotary Club to support the development of MPS’s upcoming Youth Peer Support Pilot Program.
The Windham Endowment for Community Advancement has appointed Shirley Wentworth to its board of directors. She is a marketing and communications professional with a passion for building connections that strengthens communities. Michele L. Tremblay, the volunteer president of New Hampshire Rivers Council, was named Volunteer NH’s 2025 Spirit of NH Awardee. This award honors an individual or group which best exemplifies the spirit of service in New Hampshire. She received the event’s highest recognition at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord on Oct. 27. Other Spirit of NH awardees included Elijah George, B3 Youth Clinic; Angela Lamothe, Spark Hope Scar Revision Project; Katharine H. Bigelow, Sugar Hill Historical Museum; The Szymbor Family, NH Farm Museum; and Gather Community Food Center.
The Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests was recognized with the 2025 Employer Leadership Award from the National Society of American Foresters (SAF), which recognizes an employer demonstrating leadership through consistent support of employee participation in SAF and engagement in the forestry profession.
The board of trustees of the Palace Theatres in Manchester has appointed Carl Rajotte as the organization’s next CEO, succeeding Peter Ramsey upon his retirement in June 2027. Rajotte has more than 30 years of experience as an actor, director, choreographer and designer, and was the Palace’s artistic director since 2002.
The NH Charitable Foundation has welcomed Tom Burack, James “Jamie” Burnett and Emmett Soldati to its 16-member board of directors. Burack is an attorney and consultant with Sheehan Phinney; Burnett is president of Sight Line; and Soldati is owner of Totally Tea + Coffee as well as an activist and community leader.
EDUCATION
The Community College System of NH (CSNH) has received a $50,000 grant from the Metallica Scholars Initiative administered by the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation to expand access to skilled trades programs across New Hampshire’s seven community colleges. CCSNH is recognized as the only institution in the Granite State to receive such funding, which will go towards offsetting the cost of specialized equipment, materials, protective gear or other degreespecific equipment.
In celebration of National Scholarship Month in November, the Foundation for NH Community Colleges has awarded nearly 600 scholarships totaling $487,000. The average award was $814, a 27% increase over the prior academic year. The Foundation awarded 1,333 scholarships totaling $854,000 for the 2024-25 school year.
GOVERNMENT
Christopher MacBean, partner and chief planning and chief compliance officer at Harbor Group, was recently appointed to the New Hampshire Retirement System’s Independent Investment Committee (IIC) as a public member. He was nominated by Gov. Kelly Ayotte and confirmed by the Executive Council in late October. MacBean fills a vacancy on the IIC and his term runs through June 2026.
LAW
Christopher J. Nelson has joined Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer as of counsel, and is now part of the law firm’s Estate Planning & Administration practice group working out of the Manchester office. Nelson previously had his own private practice in Concord for 12 years, helping clients with estate planning and administration, tax planning for families and businesses, real estate title issues, structuring international business transactions, among other types of legal work.
Shaheen & Gordon, P.A., has been recognized in the 2026 edition of Best Law Firms with Metropolitan Tier 1 Rankings across Northern New England for 14 practice areas, including personal injury, criminal defense, family law, trusts and estates, immigration, litigation and more. The Best Law Firms list represents the top 4% of the legal industry for professional excellence based on ratings from clients and peers.
McLane Middleton director Jennifer L. Parent has been appointed the New Hampshire state chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only fellowship of trial lawyers who have demonstrated high standards of trial advocacy, ethical conduct, integrity, professionalism and collegiality. Parent was inducted as a Fellow in 2019 and previously served as state vicechair. She is a director of the firm’s Litigation Department and chairs its Business Litigation Practice Group.
McLane Middleton was recently recognized in the 2026 Benchmark Litigation rankings as “Highly Recommended” in New Hampshire for Dispute Resolution. Firm attorneys Michael A. Delaney, Bruce W. Felmly, Wilbur A. Glahn III, Adam M. Hamel, Scott H. Harris, Margaret “Peg” O’Brien, Jennifer L. Parent, and Mark C. Rouvalis were all recognized individually as “Litigation Star(s).” Parent was further recognized being named to the “Top 250 Women in Litigation” list. Alexandra S. Cote, Steven J. Dutton, Benjamin B. Folsom, Andrew R. Hamilton, and Christopher J. Walsh were recognized as “Future Star(s)” with Cote also being named to the “40 and Under List.”
Attorney Nick Mason has joined the Dover office of Shaheen & Gordon, P.A. Mason joins the business law team dealing with transactional matters. He previously served as corporate counsel for a real estate investment trust and held positions at private firms specializing in title services.
ENVIRONMENT
Massachusetts-based Northeast Recycling LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of ReSource Waste Services LLC, announced that it has acquired the wastehauling business Arrow Container Services. Based in Pelham, NH, Arrow offers demolition debris hauling services to its clients in southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts.
Our Town Energy Alliance, a family-run membership program that has helped New England households save on heating fuel since 1999, has rebranded to Our Town Buyers Club. Through partnerships with regional vendors, the organization negotiates discounted heating-fuel prices that save members about $1 per gallon, translating to hundreds in annual savings for a typical household. The rebrand includes a new logo, a refreshed visual identity inspired by the company’s New Hampshire roots, and a redesigned website — ourtownbuyersclub.com — with improved access to pricing, benefits and member resources.
CONSTRUCTION
Jewett Construction, based in Fremont, NH, has been recognized with an Excellence in Construction (EIC) Award for its work on the Hoffman Porsche project in East Hartford, Conn. Presented by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), the Awards celebrate the nation’s most innovative and high-quality construction projects. The Hoffman Porsche project was designed and constructed to embody the Porsche brand, providing a first-class experience for both customers and staff.
HEALTH CARE
Jennifer Garcia Nason, APRN, has joined Concord Hospital Internal Medicine with over 22 years of nursing and primary care experience at organizations such as Granite VNA, Genesis Health and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Concord Hospital Cardiovascular Institute recently welcomed three new board-certified physicians to its team: Augustin James (AJ) DeLago, MD, an interventional cardiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex coronary artery disease; Jonathan Eddinger, MD, FACC, FASE, specialized in internal medicine, general cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography and clinical lipidology; and Jenaya Goldwag, MD, a vascular and endovascular surgeon providing advanced surgical and minimally invasive treatment for arterial and venous diseases, including aneurysms, peripheral artery disease, carotid artery disease and varicose veins.
BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS
Infinity Aviation Group has named Terrance Hart as general manager of its Nashua, NH, fixed base operator (KASH), where he will focus on adding new tenants to the company’s hangars, overseeing its day-to-day operations and providing flight support. He previously spent nine years with Jet Aviation, where he served in multiple roles including brand ambassador, line service operations and front desk associate.
Fabrizia Spirits, the Limoncello producer based in Salem, has launched Fabrizia Crema di Almond, a smooth cream liqueur made with Sicilian almonds and real cream.
The launch follows a period of expansion for the company’s flagship Limoncello line, which has achieved an average compound annual growth rate of 20% over the past five years, more than doubling in size and expanding distribution to 25 states. This momentum has been driven by consumer demand for clean-label, all-natural products and the rising popularity of Limoncello Spritz cocktails in bars and restaurants nationwide.
The Pease Development Authority (PDA) board of directors unanimously voted to appoint Richard Hartley as the new director of ports and harbors. He has been serving as interim director, and will continue to oversee operations, development and long-term planning for New Hampshire’s port facilities. Hartley, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, spent over two decades specializing in maritime security, operations management and strategic planning in leadership positions such as senior liaison to the U.S. Fleet Forces Navy Warfare Development Command, director of operations for the U.S. Coast Guard in Miami, and director of operational safety and security at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School.
