Hundreds of H-1B workers employed in New Hampshire

The following data shows the extent that New Hampshire employers rely on the H-1B program to fill positions for highly skilled workers. Recently, President Trump instituted stiff, $100,000 fees for future H-1B workers. Media reports say some 700,000 people work in the United States on H-1B visas, many for tech firms. Many of the workers are from India, according to media reports. But the following data, nearly all from U.S. Department of Labor spreadsheets, do not specify the country of origin for the workers. Unless otherwise specified, all data is for the first nine months of Federal Fiscal Year 2025, which started on Oct. 1, 2024.
