He understands the needs of business owners in New Hampshire and is focused on reaching efficient and fair outcomes.

A native of Durham, New Hampshire, Sean received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire in 1987 and then went on to compete in the U.S. National Rowing Team for several years. He received his Juris Doctorate from UNH Law School in 1995. Sean is on the Board of Directors for the Dover Children’s home and previously served on the boards for the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire.

Earle has been with Service Credit Union since 2019 and leads the lending staff’s activity in originating new loan opportunities and managing the commercial loan portfolio.  Additionally, he assists the Manager of the Business Services Group with development of the vision and implementation of the strategy necessary for achieving the division’s goals.

Earle’s 43 years of commercial banking experience has been spent working at a variety of New England based financial institutions of various sizes from regional commercial banks to small community based organizations.  His experience spans a broad range of lending disciplines from large investment real estate financings to traditional C&I lending in both small business and middle market segments.

Earle is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he received both Bachelor’s and Master of Business Administration degrees.

He also represents buyers and sellers of middle market companies, and has negotiated and structured complex recapitalizations, leveraged and management buyouts, corporate acquisitions, and family business transfers. John teaches courses for business owners, attorneys and accountants on business valuation and business succession issues and is a frequent panelist at seminars sponsored by the ESOP Association.

Before joining Atlantic Management Company in 1989, John was affiliated with McLaughlin Research Corporation. Prior to that, he was a military intelligence analyst with the United States Air Force Electronic Security Command and served in the United States, Japan, and Greece.
