Young supporters

The YMCA of Greater Nashua is getting a boost from a pair of its youngest members.

Nina and Portia Butrym, 7 and 10 years old respectively, have pledged to raise $1,000 to support “Proud Heritage . . . Exciting Future,” the YMCA’s capital campaign, according to campaign spokesperson Kelly Dinoff.

The pair’s first fundraising efforts take place Sunday at 11 a.m. at their home on 1 High Pine Drive in Hudson, where they’ll be selling lemonade, Dinoff said.

The capital campaign is raising money to build a new YMCA facility later this year. More than 100 people are expected to stop by the lemonade stand, she said.
